Genuine immersive experience with local guide. Visit the typical Azorean dairy farm, where milking is done by hand, outdoors in the pasture. Visitors are welcomed into our home. When weather conditions allow dinner can be served in the garden. Drinks and entrees are served during dinner preparation. It is not just about the food (you can go to a restaurant for that), but mainly for the interaction with the locals. The best way to learn about our culture, history and traditions. Usually, a fish or meat barbecue, or a typicall local food is served accompanied by Portuguese wine (mainland) or Azorean wine. For dessert you cannot miss one of the many typical sweet’s coffee or dessert wine.

This experience combines the discovery of the island's stunning landscape with a theme that arouses a lot of curiosity in visitors. The importance and the role of this island in World War II and above all during the Cold War. Dare to try out the best we have for an afternoon. First, we go to heaven, we will bo by car to the top of Serra da Ribeirinha mountain. There are several viewpoints in this area that provide an amazing view of the city of Angra do Heroísmo, the Monte Brasil volcano and Vila de São Mateus. On most days, depending on the weather conditions, you may even be surprised with a view to the island of São Jorge and the island of Pico with its imposing mountain. A few steps and you have a view to Ilhéu das Cabras, Ilhéu dos Fradinhos and the entire south coast. Several stunning spots to photograph, lots of cows and green fields with typical dry stone walls.
Descended and begin the path to the depths of the earth on this visit to "Algar do Carvão" cave. An ancient dormant volcano, in this cave visitors can descend to a depth of around 100 meters (330 feet), and observe stalactites that are unique in the world due to their silicate characteristics, and an underground lagoon with crystal clear waters.
